Freedom =July4?

         True freedom is of the heart and that type of freedom is in Christ Jesus. But there is a freedom that we experience as humans on this planet if we apply certain principles. If we as grown-ups deny freedom to the most innocent life there is, the pre-born baby, their freedom to experience life here on earth then how can we really believe that our freedom is going to last here in America? It won't! If we justify abortion on the grounds of social convenience or inconvenience then others are the next target. People with physical problems, the solution is death. Older people who are too old to work or to contribute to society, the solution is kill them, put them out of the way. A civilized society cannot stand long when they get into that mindset. We are going the way of Hitler, Sanger and others who sought control of the people and desiring to make a perfect society with no physical defects or handicaps, it will never work. We, who want freedom on this planet in the natural must fight for that freedom to keep it. Just as those who are born of God must fight the evil and the evil one in society to walk in the freedom that Jesus has furnished us by his finished work on the cross.
         Even though it is a fight Jesus furnished us with the needed equipment to fight the fight of faith. And in the natural, man is endowed with the equipment to get and keep worldly freedom but it too is a fight. So we cannot take freedom for granted, to retain it is to fight for it. Our rights are slowly being taken from us and the wrongs are being legalized whether we are talking about abortion, homosexuality, freedom of speech, gun control, etc. Those rights that we have taken for granted for so long are slowly going to the wayside. We are living in a very passive society that seems to think that things will just naurally mend and get better and they will not! Don't take things for granted a minute longer! Time is short, the Lord of Glory is coming and he is calling people to himself.
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. -John 8:32
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. -John 8:36
         Come to him now, he is calling. Just repent, turn from sin, confess it now, he will give you strength to do his will, to obey him. He is worth far more than we are or could ever be.
         Don't let the closing remarks be a part of your life.
"Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? -Malachi 2:17
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" -Isaiah 5:20
         It is an everlasting woe, an everlasting loss. Don't be one of the losers. Come to Jesus Christ today.
John 1:12 says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) -II Cor 6:2
         Tomorrow may be too late. Celebrate real freedom which is only in Jesus.
