Freedom to Live and Love!

Are you tired of back-biting, bitterness, being full of resentment and hate, etc. or even trying, really trying to be good. Yet you know that it is just a trying experience because you don't have what it takes. Well, what you need is freedom to live and love.
True freedom isn't doing what you want to do, it's doing what God wants and that is believing on the Son.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, to them that believe on his name."
(John 1:12)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
(John 3:16,17)

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
(John 6:28,29,40)

And if you don't believe and receive the Son then as a lost person, you have only one nature to submit to, the sin nature. A Christian has two natures, his old sin nature or his new righteous nature. One results in death, the other in life and peace.
By reading Romans 7:15-8:6, we see that the new righteous nature always gets the victory as we submit to Jesus (Also check James 4:7).
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

Positionally a Christian has been set free from sin. Experientially it becomes a reality as he learns and applies God's word to his life. That's how the Son sets us free through his word and the more that we know his word, the freer we become.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. (Psalm 119:9-11)

Then said Jesus unto those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never any bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is a servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
(John 8:32-36)

True freedom isn't dependent upon where you are. It's based upon who you are in and who is in you.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
(II Corinthians 5:17-21)

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perserverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the Gospel.
Even the mystery that has been hid from ages and from generations, but is now made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
(Eph. 6:18,19; Colossians 1:26,27)

So use your freedom wisely, don't use it to do wrong but use it to glorify God and then you will silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. (Check I Peter 2:15,16)
One of the best ways to use your freedom wisely is to have the armor on that God furnishes.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perserverance and supplication for all saints." (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Only a Christian can wear this armor, which he wears by faith, and stand in the freedom that God calls us to stand in. But remember this, God wants all to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth (I Tim. 2:4). So if you're living in sin, it's not God keeping you from a full and abundant life. Just repent and ask Jesus Christ who is Jehovah Elohim (LORD God) Almighty to forgive you and come into your life as your Lord (Master) and Saviour (the One who frees from the penalty and the power of sin) and he will.
True repentance involves seeing sin as God wants you to see it and turning from it to him. Because of sin, God actually became a man and let the people He created, beat him almost beyond recognition and then nail him to a cross. The word says '..without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. He became the perfect sin offering for the world (Check Hebrews 9:22-28; cf. II Corinthians 5:17-21, Romans 10:9,10)

        Salvation is a free gift.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
(Titus 3:5,6)
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8,9)
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works. (Romans 4:5,6)

The law doesn't save but the Gospel, 'Good News' that Jesus came to die and rise again to save sinners does.
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." (Romans 3:20)
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
(I Corinth. 15:3,4) Read also Galatians 5:1-18.
For whosoever sall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:10)
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
(Gal. 3:24-26)
Then as a Christian, we are free to move and operate in God's love. To love those who hate us and despitefully use us and say all manner of evil against us falsely. We can rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is our reward in heaven. The prophets before us were persecuted in the same way (Check Matthew 5:10-12).

When Jesus walked this planet, He said, "I am come that they might have life and they might have it more abundantly." This kind of life that Jesus was talking about is 'zoe' in the Greek and it's life in the absolute sense of the word. Life as God has and he wants us to have it by letting him live inside us and empower us to want to do and to do of his good pleasure (Check Phil.2:13).
In conclusion this pamphlet is summed up in two words 'love life'. To truly move in this life is to know him so give the Master charge of your life and he'll do a work in you that you never dreamed possible.
Give God a call. Here's his phone number- Jer.33:3 "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not." He's always available. He 's just waiting on you. He wants you and you need him, don't put him off any longer.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son, he that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son hath not life.
(I John :11,12)
