Mormon Beliefs- Part 3- Plagerism in the Book of Mormon

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

Jesus did not say I, Joseph Smith and a host of other false prophets are the way, the truth, and the life." He just mentioned himself without anyone else included. So come to him today for that full and abundant life that you so badly need. The message today will be for the Mormons mainly but the salvation that Jesus offers is for everyone.

        Okay, I'll be speaking regarding the Book of Mormon again and this time I'll be discussing plagerism from the bible, KJV. If those who are calling in have a Book of Mormon handy, it will be beneficial for you to look these places up and compare them with a King James Bible if you have one of those. You will see some very enlightening things to say the least.

        Going to 2 Nephi, Chapter 12 and comparing it with Isaiah, Chapter 2. I will do this one for you so you will understand what I'm talking about. Okay, now as I read 2 Nephi, Chapter 12 and compare it with Isaiah 2, I see that it is the same as my KJV Bible until I get to verse 6 which says in the Book of Mormon, "Therefore, O Lord, thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Jacob...."
         The Book of Mormon added the words, "O Lord" and as I continue in this way through the Book of Mormon and the bible (KJV) when I get to v. 10 in the Book of Mormon, I see that the first few words in that verse were added which says, "O ye wicked ones,..." and then in v.11, the first few words in that verse were added, "And it shall come to pass that...."
         Then when I get to verse 13, the first few words in that verse were added, "Yea, and the day of the Lord shall come..." and then when you get to verse 14, the last few words in that verse were added, "..and upon the nations which are lifted up, and upon every people;

         Going to v. 16, I see that the first few words in that verse were added, "And upon all the ships of the sea,.." In v. 19, towards the end of the verse, they add three words, "..shall smite them.."

        And finally in verse 21, I see in the middle of that verse, "..shall come upon them,.." was added and then right after that it says, "...and the majesty of his glory.. but the KJV Bible says, "..for the glory of his majesty.."
        The words glory and majesty were switched around. Once again, they added, "..shall smite them.. in the middle of that verse. That's the kind of differences that you will find when you are comparing these chapters (And they even tell you to compare right below the chapters that I'm going to be telling you about, so it would pay to compare them and see the plagerism all through the Book of Mormon). We have just finished one chapter and that being 2 Nephi, Chapter 12. So you compare 2 Nephi 13 with Isa.3, 2, Nephi 14 with Isa.4, 2 Nephi 15 with Isa.5, 2 Nephi 16 with Isa.6, 2 Nephi 17 with Isa.7, , 2 Nephi 18 with Isa.8, 2 Nephi 19 with Isa.9, 2 Nephi 20 with Isa.10, 2 Nephi 21 with Isa.11, 2 Nephi 22 with Isa. 12, 2 Nephi 23 with Isa.13, and 2 Nephi 24 with Isa.14. If we go to 3 Nephi 12 and compare Matt.5, 3 Nephi 13 with Matt. 6, 3 Nephi 14 with Matt. 7, they copy Isaiah some more in 3 Nephi 16. In 3 Nephi 24, they copy a lot of Malachi 3, 3 Nephi with Malachi 4. There are ever so many other verses copied into the Book of Mormon.          Okay now, I want to take you to one of my favorite chapters in the Bible and it's Isa. 53 but if we want to read it in the Book of Mormon, you would have to go to Mosiah Chapter 14. There is some very, very interesting things here. This is another one of those so-called comparison chapters, so let's compare. First I see that it is word for word, verse for verse with Isa. 53 in the KJV of the Bible. This supposely came off of the plates of Laban in 600 B.C., it's the exact word for word quotation from the Book of Isaiah with 15 italicized words (these words were italicized to show that they were not part of the original languages) which were added to the scriptures in 1611 to make the word of God flow better in our language. I guess Joseph Smith didn't know that when he copied them down into his Book of Mormon.

        The other thing that is really interesting about this is that Mormons continually down-grade the bible, saying it's full of contradictions, changes etc. when I'm out in front of their wards witnessing. I tell them that I would like to talk about the seemingly contradictions but they just don't seem to want to talk or listen. The next question is why does the Mormon Church advertise the Book of Mormon as a companion to the bible if they really believe that it is full of contradictions? Why aren't they willing to discuss the Book of Mormon with it's over 4,000 changes since it came out. If the Bible has so many contradictions, why is so much of it copied into the Book of Mormon and also the contradictions, changes that I am speaking about surely doesn't come from the bible that they put within the Book of Mormon, it's from their own continually changing doctrines and they are trying to make the Book of Mormon line up with them. I have to admit that the reason that the Book of Mormon has such a drawing power is because a lot of the bible is copied into the Book of Mormon and God said that his word won't come back void. But then again pure truth cause freedom but watered-down truth causes bondage and that is what the Mormon leaders have done to their people by watering the word down to suit their religious fanacies (like having a bunch of wives, having a dominating power over their women, controlling their people by telling them that the prophet speaks for God, he will never lead you astray and by trying to prove all of this is what God wants and a bunch of other lies by wrongly dividing the Bible, God's word of truth). Sticking your head in the sand and pretending that problems don't exist just doesn't help anybody and the fire continually gets closer to your life and it will stay for all eternity or should I say, you will. Come to Jesus today, he is the answer that you so desperately need. You will never find it in religion but only in a relationship with God through Jesus. If I am misinformed or misguided- I sure want to know it so e-mail me and let's talk. Jesus himself said, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." So let's talk, truth frees people, it surely doesn't cause bondage. Thanks so much for checking my Page out, e-mail me if you would like to discuss this deeper. Jesus loves you ever so much!
