ANGER

Ecc. 7:9
9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
Anger rests, resides in the bosom of fools, just waiting for the opportunity to come out and it usually is about some little, minute thing..
Anger doesn't rest, lay around in a person moving in the Spirit, it comes upon him when the time is right.

Prov. 14:16,17
16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
Have you ever noticed how a lot of fleshly anger is off the cuff, so to speak. No thought, no meditation in it, no wisdom to it.
Just getting mad cause the flesh was hurt, offended, downgraded, or whatever...

Prov. 15:1,2
1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
A time and a place for everything... Sometimes Jesus spoke soft words and at other times grievous words.
At both times he was walking in the Spirit, doing what needed to be done...
Sometimes Jesus spoke words that he knew would get the other party mad but also thinking... Was Jesus always speaking soft words to turn away wrath??? as some pretend when they don't want you getting mad at sin and the consequences of it..

Prov. 16:32
32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
It doesn't say...."He that is never angered is better than the mighty,..." There is a time for anger. But there is a fleshly anger that is quick to pounce on anyone and anything for no valid reason at all...
An anger by way of the Spirit can be just as strong if not stronger than any fleshly anger...

Luke 14:16-24
"16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
21 So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper."
This is a good one... The great supper is a type of the wedding feast of the Lamb. Look at the excuses of those who were already bidden to come...
It shows that a lot are not too excited about the Lord coming again for those who are his...
We put so many measly, minute, little dinky things before our committment to the word, the ministry, the church, the life of God.
You think that our Master, the Lord Jesus Christ doesn't get angry when he sees us taking what he has given us so lightly???

Matt. 5:22
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
The new world order doesn't want us getting angry when they start taking over so they can change the word to tell us not to get angry by taking out "without a cause..." So the new bibles are making it a sin to get angry for anything .
I got into an argument, debate, discussion, whatever you want to call it using this verse with a brother in a small town close to where I live. He was attempting to show me that the NIV was correct on this one. He said something to the effect, "Oh, sure it is all right to get angry but have a good reason..." as if he was making fun of the true word of God, by denfending a bible perversion, the NIV.
(CHECK MY PAGE UNDER BIBLE PERVERSIONS)
I used another verse to show him that the KJV is true and the NIV is all messed up. When I quoted the verse, he got quiet...
AND HERE IS THE VERSE....
SINCE WE ARE GOING TO LOOK AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN REGARDING ANGER...

Eph. 4:26
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
If you don't get angry with many of the things going on in the world and the chruch then something is wrong, bad wrong with your perspective...

John 2:13-21
"13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body."
Jesus is angry, mad, hot, upset, and even peeved at what is going on.. You can see it, read it, feel it as you go through these verses...
Think about this, we are his temple now and he gets mad when we make his temple a trading post, a house of merchandise between the world and God...

I Cor. 3:16,17
"16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are."
We make his life a money making business since money is needed but we are not going to sell God even though many try to.
We live for him and he will take care of the rest as we submit the problems, the confusion, the situations, the needs, desires, wants to him..

Mark 2:23-3:6
"23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

3:1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
5 And when he had looked round about on them with ANGER, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other."
6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
What did Jesus do that was so evil here??? He healed a man on the Sabbath. But what did he do that was so evil??? He told a man to stretch forth his hand on the Sabbath??? That is work??? Even though Jesus told them that they could do good on the Sabbath since the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath...

Luke 13:10-17
"10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, THOU HYPOCRITE, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him."
It sounds like the days we are living in... An animal is more important than a human... Ask any pro-choicer...         You can't touch a person and heal but you can lead an ox or ass to water... (BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM DRINK)...
CF...
Luke 14:1-6
"1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.
3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?
4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;
5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?
6 And they could not answer him again to these things."
Jesus showed them that they will pull and ass or ox out of the pit if it fell in on the Sabbath but they get mad when he heals a man on the same Sabbath???
They couldn't answer him but they could still condemn him... and kill him eventually...
It is sad that the flesh seeks to get us so legalistic instead of just walking, living in the Spirit of God...
