Chapter 12
Truth going forth

Cindy picks up the Bible again and start looking for her place in Psalm 139. She finds it and starts reading again, "Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee." She is thinking, "Yea, Lord you see me and watch over me and I am so thankful!" Then she looks down to read the rest of the Psalm. "Verse 13 says, 'For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.' Joe walks back in with his big glass of tea. "Want some, honey?" She glances up at Joe and says, "No thanks!" and turns back to the Bible. Joe says, "Oh!, I am sorry, I told you that you are going to finish that since I am here to make sure of it." She looks back and smiles. "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb." Cindy is thinking, 'I wonder what that is saying?' "Thou hast possessed my reins? I don't understand!"

Joe jumps in again. "What Cindy?" "Oh, I was just thinking out loud Joe. I am wondering what this is saying." Joe says, "Read it to me!" Cindy reads it again, out loud this time. "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb." Joe is thinking, "Well, Cindy let's get a dictionary and see what we have for reins" as Joe walks over to the bookshelf. He grabs a dictionary and looks up the word, "reins". "It says, 'a.the kidneys b.the lower part of the back c.the feelings.' Hey Cindy, there is a Bible verse in here too. It says, 'The righteous God trieth the hearts and reins (Psalm 7:9)' Since the heart has to do with the real you, the inner man and it is normally not talking about a beating heart in the Bible so feeling would make the most sense in the verse in the dictionary. What about the verse in the Psalm that you are reading, Cindy? Also see what the KJV says in that Psalm. 7:9 so we can be sure that this dictionary is quoting from the 'correct' Bible. You remember what Clyde told us about all the new bible versions that are coming out, that are from the two most corrupt manuscripts, the Siniaticus and the Vaticanus and money is the main objective for pushing the new versions. The Christian bookstores are in it for the money just as Planned Parenthood is into selling sex for the money."

Cindy looks up at Joe, startled. "Why did you use Planned Parenthood?" Joe says, "I don't know, honey! I guess when I think of money, they are the first ones to come to mind. They are a multi-million dollar corporation from selling sex and lies. Clyde has been telling me about that organization and how they are selling weak birth control pills that don't keep a woman from getting pregnant so they can abort their baby, that's where the money is really at." Cindy says, "Okay Joe, enough of that, let's go back to the Bible." Joe says, "Yea, you're right there. It is super important."

Cindy tries to forget what Joe just told her and she looks up Psalm 7:9 and reads it, "Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins." Joe is reading it in the dictionary at the same time and he says, "Well, it is the same, they just put in the last part of the verse that talks about the reins. Speaking of reins how is it used in the Psalm that you are reading honey?" Cindy reads Psalm 139:13 again but keeps going. "It says, '13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. 17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee." Cindy stops reading and starts crying.

Joe jumps over the couch and sits beside her, "Cindy, what is wrong with you?" "Joe, didn't you hear what I just read?" "Yes, honey but why are you crying?" "Joe, listen to this again. 'I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:', do you hear that Joe?" Joe is confused. "Yes, honey, I hear you." She keeps reading, "marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." By now, she is weeping big time. Joe doesn't know what to think. "Honey, what is wrong?" She asks Joe to keep reading it. Joe picks up the Bible and continues to read the words of the Almighty God. "My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth" Joe stops and says, "Honey, that says to me that since we were created out of the dust of the earth then to be created in the lowest parts of the earth, that would be about the center of the woman's body where the baby is being created, it is very poetic to me." Cindy is crying and Joe keeps reading. "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them." Honey, it is like he is saying that God is the one who forms that baby in the womb and he does it a step at a time. He sees us totally complete as he is fashioning us yet we are life from the very beginning. He has a purpose for each of us whether or not we fulfill that purpose, he still has one. We might not look like we do now but we are life nonetheless. Life worthly of living, created by the God of the universe.

Joe's eyes are getting a little misty now, maybe he is beginning to see why Cindy is crying. Joe continues to read. "How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! "If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee." Joe stops and thinks out loud. "It is like when Jesus hung on the cross and God's Love (Jesus) died there but he has an undying love for us. His thoughts are good towards us but our thoughts are negative, evil towards him. We need him so much Cindy, we don't realize how much, maybe we never will." Cindy throws her arms around Joe, "I am so confused, so tired!" She just holds him and holds him and holds him. Minutes pass like hours and Joe is wondering, "What is going on? I like her hugging me but what is going on? What?"
