Be a Christian Promise Keeper.

There are many, many Promise Keepers who are not Christians. The only way of salvation is though the Lord Jesus Christ."But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12) The sacraments won't help you, witnessing door to door doesn't save, praying to Mary is a waste of time, she can't hear you. Thinking that you are literally eating Jesus at the Eucharist is a lie. That would be canniblism and the Lord isn't in agreement with that. There are many religious people in this world who are looking for an answer to life. So many think that the answer is in religion and it isn't. The answer is in a relationship with Jesus not even in a religion about him. If you truly know him? Do what Jesus said and share the Gospel with everyone around you. Don't make the mistake of taking it for granted that a person is a Christian because he says the name of Jesus or because he is praising him right next to you. True praise is a heart thing, there are many who praise him and still don't know him. They might not know him personally, they might just know about him and that isn't salvation. When Jesus comes into a person's life, he makes them brand new inside. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (II Cor. 5:17). The person has been cleansed, bought with a price- the precious blood of Jesus. It is the greatest thing that a person can experience in this life so don't belittle it and bring it down to a religious experience.
When a person receives the Lord Jesus Christ, he comes into a relationship with the Creator of the universe. That is the most awesome thing that can happen to a man or woman on planet earth. So many religious people want agreement at any price but the Word of God says, "Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" (Gal. 4:16) Don't compromise truth for unity, it is a false unity so, in turn, it is a lie. And lies are of the evil one-Lucifer, Satan, the devil. He is a loser, don't be one with him. Jesus loves you! I am dealing with the organization, Promise Keepers. God doesn't want us making promises, he wants our yea to be yea and our nay to be nay. He doesn't want us making oaths. Cbristians are to be honest, charitable, etc. If people see that you are honest, up front with them you won't need to be making promises. What you say will be good enough to them. "But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation." James 5:12
Jesus said it this way:
33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Matt. 5
